Golf has been a part of my life for as long as I
can remember. I was 8 when I won my first junior golf tournament and almost
immediately I began to visualize my dream to one day play collegiate golf.
Over
the next several years I made my mark on junior golf, playing consistently and
winning key events (select to view historical golf stats). Ultimately, I caught the attention of several college
coaches with offers to play at their school.
Fall 2008 I will begin my freshman year at
Central Alabama Community College (CACC), a two year NJCAA Division 1 college in Alexander City, Alabama.
I am eager to begin my studies, and more importantly, contribute to the long
standing winning history of the CACC Trojan Golf Team, under the direction of
Head Coach
Dave
Jennings.
While at CACC, I plan to diligently work towards
attaining the personal goals that I have set for my collegiate golf experience.
My objective is to use the two years at
CACC
to better prepare me for Division 1 collegiate golf. My desire is to transfer to
a Division 1 university in the south to complete my Bachelor of Science Degree
and to further develop my competitive golf game at the next level. Upon
graduating from college, I envision playing professionally on the PGA Tour and
being closely affiliated with the golf industry.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my golf
web site. I invite college coaches to
contact me
so that we can have the opportunity to discuss my educational and golf goals in
person at a future date. Thank you to my friends and family for all your support
and encouragement through the years. Keep coming back; my site is updated
weekly.
Hit ‘em straight,
Zach
